MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA)
Duration: Four Days (32 hours)
The MTCNA course covers the basics of setting up MikroTik devices and provides participants with the skills to configure, manage, do troubleshooting of MikroTik RouterOS using a Routerboard to provide basic services to clients. The course is specially developed to appeal to network engineers and technicians wanting to deploy and support corporate networks and client CPEs (WISPs and ISPs).
Course prerequisites: The student must have a good understanding of TCP/IP and subnetting.
Course Objectives
• Installing and upgrading the RouterOS
• Static IP addressing and routing
• Creating a DHCP server and client
• Firewall filters and NAT rules
• Simple queues for bandwidth control
• Web proxy for URL Filtering control and caching
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be familiar with RouterOS software and RouterBOARD products. The course will provide participants with the skills to configure a MikroTik RouterOS Routerboard as a dedicated router, a bandwidth manager, a secure firewall appliance, a simple wireless access point, a VPN Server or Client or an Internet Hotspot concentrator etc.
