This 2-day session is focused on training participants on all that is required for designing and installing Solar systems. The students learn the science behind solar power, electrical basics, performing site evaluations and the function and integration of all components of a solar powered system, both grid tied and off grid. All students will manually assemble a fully operational roof, pole and ground mounted solar powered system.

• Process of mounting solar modules to the racking system
• Off Grid System Design and Off Grid Balance of System

• Correct and safe method of commissioning (turning on) the system
• Maintenance and Cleaning of the system

Successful completion of this course will equip you with the knowledge, skills and complete understanding of all the different equipment involved in the system, the concepts of angles and shading, assembly of a fully operational solar powered system, parallel and series circuits, designing and installing a battery system, testing to understand the output of panels, and grid tie, off grid and hybrid systems.
